Chapter 5

  • Anything can be changed in a matter of minutes
  • once we effect a change, we should reinforce it immediately. Then we must condition our nervous system to succeed not Just once, but consistently.
  • You have to believe you can change NOW to create change quickly.
  • Must believe we are responsible for our own change to create long-term change.
  • First we must believe "Something must change!" Next you have believe "I must change it." Third we must believe "I can change it."
  • Nothing changes until we change the sensations we link to an experience in our nervous system.
  • we unconsciously develop neuro-associations by allowing ourselves to indulge in emotions or behaviors on a consistent basis.
★ - If you Just stop indulging in A behavior long enough the neural connection will weaken and Atrophy. The disempowering emotional Pattern disappears with it.
★ Courage, unused, diminishes. Commitment, unexercised, wanes. Love, unshared, dissipates.
  • When you give your brain mixed message, you are going to get mixed results.
  • in the next chapter, take action & Follow through with each of the steps you're about to learn so that you not only read the chapter, but Produce changes as the result of reading it
