- we must take charge of our metaphors.
- changing one global metaphor can instantly transform the way you look at your entire life.
- Be careful not to carry metaphors that are appropriate in one context, like work, into an incompatible context, like home.
- "Right now it's winter and you want it to be summer, but god has a different Plan." we Just have to trust god knows better than we do
- Think of life as seasons. If I'm in winter, it's okay because spring is right around the corner. I have another chance.
- become a metaphor detective: when you hear Someone using a metaphor that Places limits, step in, break Pattern, offer new one.

A battle - relationships Are... A dance, a scene in a movie, a dream, empowering
