Life Brings Joy

My soul is full of joy, and it transcends beyond what my human brain can comprehend. I also don’t believe my human brain can comprehend the perfect twist of events in my life, but my intuition trusts that God is a better author of my life than I am. Although I still believe in working hard for your dreams and goals, God knows how to perfectly make things fall into place. So far, 2018 has taught me that even the most logical, type A, and analytical people can feel free and spontaneous. It’s also taught me that no matter how much I try to plan what I want in life or the career path I want to go down, life changes for the better or worse (depending on how you choose to perceive it, because whether you look at the glass half empty or half full, you’re correct). Life is so good and I love waking up every morning for another chance to embrace the good and the bad with open arms. The difference between joy and happiness is that happiness is based on circumstance and an almost animalistic, chemical release in the brain, whereas joy is to fall in love with life and God despite darkness or light. The difference between lust and love is that lust is that same chemical release within a person’s brain, whereas love is unconditional, despite whether you “feel like it” or not.To cut this short:

Life brings me joy.
